At Bo Wei Textile Co., Ltd. (Vietnam) - a 100% foreign-invested enterprise with 50 employees, the Mobilization Committee effectively implemented propaganda work on the rights and interests of union members, mobilizing all 50 workers to join the trade union.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee consisting of 3 members, in which Ms. Dang Thi Tieu Nhan was trusted to be the Chairwoman of the grassroots Trade Union.
At BAF Tay Ninh Animal Feed Co., Ltd., with 150 employees, the Mobilization Committee mobilized 52 people to voluntarily apply to join the trade union. The Congress elected the Executive Committee with 3 members, of which Ms. Huynh Thi Ngoc Han was elected as Chairwoman of the grassroots Trade Union.
Speaking to direct at the two congresses, Mr. Nguyen Trong Danh - Deputy Head of the Trade Union Committee of Tay Ninh Industrial Park province acknowledged and praised the efforts of the Mobilization Committee as well as the consensus and proactive spirit of workers. At the same time, emphasized that the establishment of grassroots trade unions is an important starting step for workers to be better protected and have a voice in building a safe and progressive working environment.
Mr. Nguyen Trong Danh requested new grassroots trade unions to soon stabilize their organizations; proactively coordinate with the Board of Directors of enterprises in legal propaganda, periodic dialogues, practical care for workers; foster a contingent of trade union officials with sufficient bravery and capacity, contributing to building harmonious, stable and developing labor relations.
