Appraisal of support for building trade union shelters for workers in difficult circumstances

    Thai Nguyen - Thai Nguyen Provincial Labor Federation has just organized the appraisal of dossiers to support the construction of Trade Union Shelters for union members in difficult circumstances in the area.

    The working delegation directly surveyed and grasped the living situation of 2 union members: Ms. Luu Thi Van (Doosun Vietnam Co., Ltd.) and Ms. Chu Thi Anh (Mani Hanoi Co., Ltd.).

    These are all low-income female workers, currently living in rent, with difficult living conditions.

    From the appraisal results, it is expected that each family will be supported with 60 million VND to build a house, and at the same time continue to mobilize more resources.

    The projects are expected to start construction in May 2026, associated with Workers' Month.

    Trade Union Homes are not only material support but also a great source of encouragement, helping union members stabilize their lives, feel secure in working and be attached to businesses for a long time.
