Tens of thousands of gifts of love
According to the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor, in preparation for the Lunar New Year 2025, a specific and detailed plan was issued to each department and affiliated unit and directed to grassroots unions to mobilize all resources to take good care of union members and workers, especially those in difficult circumstances.
Specifically, during this year's Tet holiday, Thanh Hoa Trade Union will present more than 18,500 Tet gifts, with a total value of more than 12.7 billion VND to union members, workers in difficult circumstances, those with serious illnesses, those who have had work-related accidents, etc., and outstanding individuals in labor and trade union activities. These gifts are not only material support but also a source of spiritual encouragement, helping workers to have a full and warm Tet holiday with their families.
In addition, it has supported the construction and repair of 62 “Union Shelters” with a total cost of over VND 2.4 billion. This support is considered a meaningful Tet gift, helping many families reunite to have a solid home and feel secure in their work.
The program "Workers' Festival - Charity Fair" Spring At Ty 2025 will be held for 3 days (January 17, 18 and 19, 2025), at Lam Son Square, Thanh Hoa City, with many practical and meaningful activities.
At this program, there will be 100 booths providing essential products and services, selling discounted goods, and 0 VND goods to 30,000 union members, workers and people in the area; giving 3,000 shopping vouchers (worth 100,000 VND/voucher) to 3,000 union members and workers to buy products.
Bringing Tet to every facility, every member
In addition to caring activities, Thanh Hoa Trade Union also organized many unique art activities and folk games, with the participation of famous artists (taking place on the evening of January 17); organized a Spring calligraphy contest, Chung cake wrapping, tug of war, drawing contest with the theme of Spring vitality (on January 18) and a workers' dance contest (on the evening of January 19).
The highlight of this year's Tet At Ty activities is the live TV program "Tet sum vay - Xuan ung Dang", broadcast on Thanh Hoa Radio and Television and livestreamed on the official Fanpages of Vietnam Trade Union and Thanh Hoa Trade Union. The event will take place on the night of January 20 and will be connected at 3 points: Thanh Hoa Radio and Television Station; Yen Dinh District Conference Center and Quan Son District.
In addition to provincial-level activities, grassroots trade unions across Thanh Hoa province have been and will be organizing many programs to support and give Tet gifts at units, enterprises, and industrial parks. Thereby, to spread love and sharing to union members and workers, especially those in difficult situations, helping workers to welcome a meaningful and cozy new spring with their families.
