Thanh Hoa - 200 female workers are consulted, have specialist examinations and improve their knowledge of reproductive health care.

On June 22, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation said that it had just coordinated with An Viet General Hospital to organize a communication program, consultation and specialist examination for female workers at Luong Thinh Industrial Co., Ltd.

At the program, doctors disseminated knowledge about reproductive health care, sexual health, family planning, proper nutrition, occupational disease prevention and self-care skills. Doctors also directly advised and answered issues of concern to female workers.

Immediately after the communication activity, 200 female workers were examined by specialists, consulted on health and guided on monitoring and treatment for cases of abnormal signs.

Combining communication with specialist examinations right at the enterprise helps workers conveniently access medical services, detect early health problems for timely intervention, contributing to improving the quality of health care for female workers.

This is a practical activity to care for the health, protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of female union members and workers. In the coming time, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation will continue to coordinate with medical units to organize communication, consulting and health check-ups for workers at many businesses in the area.
