On June 21, in the series of activities of the program "Giving health and legal advice to workers - For a healthy Vietnam" in 2026, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor visited boarding houses to visit and give gifts to workers who suffered labor accidents.
Also attending were Ms. Ho Thi Kim Ngan - Member of the Standing Committee, Deputy Head of the Labor Relations Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Ms. Nguyen Kim Loan - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation.
Accordingly, the delegation visited and presented gifts to three cases of labor accidents including: Mr. Vo Trung Tinh (born in 1988, working at Vietnam Onamba Co., Ltd.), Mr. Tran Ngan Dong (born in 1987, working at Tan Nhat Wood Trading and Production Co., Ltd.) and Mr. Huynh Thanh Sang (born in 1991, working at Minh Nam MTV Art Co., Ltd.).
These are all workers who unfortunately suffered labor accidents, injuries over 60%. After the accident, high treatment costs and living expenses make workers face difficult circumstances.

On this occasion, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented each worker with a gift worth 5.5 million VND (including 5 million VND in cash and a gift of 500,000 VND).
Receiving gifts from the Trade Union organization, workers expressed their joy and emotion. "After I had an accident, my family's life encountered many difficulties. Fortunately, I have always been encouraged and supported by the Trade Union and the company. Today, receiving this big gift, my family is very happy and touched. I thank the Trade Union for always being by the side of workers in difficult times" - Mr. Huynh Thanh Sang expressed.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, in the past time, the unit has implemented many programs to support workers in difficult circumstances, especially cases of work accidents. In the coming time, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation will continue to coordinate with agencies, units, and businesses to implement solutions and widely disseminate labor safety and hygiene at factories. Thereby, limiting the number of work accidents, protecting the health of union members and workers.



The program "Giving health and legal advice to workers - For a healthy Vietnam" in 2026 is chaired by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, assigned to Lao Dong Newspaper, Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation in coordination with the Central Vietnam Young Physicians Association and Vietnam Bar Federation to organize at Binh Duong International Exhibition Center (Ho Chi Minh City) on the morning of June 21.
In this program, in addition to 20,000 workers being examined and given free medicine by doctors and medical staff, nearly 30 lawyers of the Vietnam Bar Federation directly provided legal advice to workers related to legal situations close to life regarding salaries, social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, civil, criminal, family marriage, land, inheritance, personal protection content, privacy and rules of conduct when participating in social networks.
The Organizing Committee also presented 100 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, people affected by illness, work accidents or in special circumstances; at the same time, organized delegations to visit some worker dormitories in the city...
