On the afternoon of June 28, at Alena Vietnam Shoe Co., Ltd. (in Yen Dinh commune), Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation organized the pilot launch of the "Happy Worker Family" model, associated with the "Worker Family Day" program.
Attending the launch were Ms. Trinh Thi Hoa - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Vice President of Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, representatives of business leaders and 150 workers' families.
According to the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, this is a practical activity in response to the "Month of Action for Children" and the 25th anniversary of Vietnamese Family Day.
At the program, many activities took place such as: The Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with Thanh Hoa Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital to advise, answer, and improve knowledge about reproductive health for workers; awarding reading and learning English markers supported by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to children of union members and workers.
Besides, there are fun and experiential activities, connecting parents and children; launching "Happy Worker Family Corner" in the worker cultural space. The activities received enthusiastic and exciting participation from worker families.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Trinh Thi Hoa - Vice President of Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation emphasized that this is a practical and meaningful activity, honoring the values of Vietnamese families; and at the same time showing the concern of the Trade Union organization in caring for and supporting union members and workers to build a prosperous, progressive, happy, and civilized family.
Through the program, contributing to caring for the spiritual life, strengthening cohesion and spreading the value of happy workers' families at enterprises.
The Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation hopes that the activity will not only bring joy but also help members understand, share, and bond; and at the same time spread family values, foster love and responsibility in each worker's family.
It is known that in addition to the Trade Union of Alena Vietnam Shoe Co., Ltd., in the coming time, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation will pilot the model at other enterprises such as: Aleron Vietnam Shoe Co., Ltd. Trade Union, Sunjade Vietnam Shoe Co., Ltd. Trade Union, Annora Vietnam Shoe Co., Ltd. Trade Union and Winner Vina Co., Ltd.
