On June 19, the grassroots Trade Union of Bao Tien Co., Ltd. held a launching ceremony for the "Where to send all love" model and the "Mother and Baby" Club. Attending were Ms. Vo Thi Thu Oanh - Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation and 50 club members.
At the ceremony, the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union announced the decision to establish the "Mother and Baby" Club and launched the Steering Committee of 6 members. The Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union was assigned to play the role of Chairman of the club.
On this occasion, Dr. Vo Minh Tien, working at Tra Vinh Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, shared many practical knowledge about reproductive health care, raising young children and the benefits of breastfeeding.
According to Ms. Pham Thi Thu Kieu - Chairwoman of the grassroots trade union of Bao Tien Co., Ltd., the "Mother and Baby" Club gathers female union members who are pregnant or raising children under 12 months old to share knowledge and experience in health care and childcare.
Every month, the grassroots Trade Union coordinates with hospitals and health centers to organize reproductive health counseling, childcare and obstetrics examinations for pregnant female workers. At the same time, mobilize support for milk, diapers or "birth packs" for union members in difficult circumstances.
For the "Where to send all love" model, the grassroots Trade Union arranges milk squeezing and storage rooms at enterprises to create a private and clean space for female workers to store milk during their working hours.
The model not only helps mothers maintain milk supply after returning to work but also contributes to ensuring nutrition for young children, helping female workers feel secure in their work and stick with the business for a long time.
The implementation of the "Where to send all love" model and the "Mother and Baby" Club is a practical activity to innovate the content and methods of women's activities, and improve the effectiveness of caring for female union members and workers.
