On May 2nd, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation said that in the past time, trade union levels have promoted propaganda and dissemination of laws in many forms, contributing to helping workers proactively protect their legitimate rights and interests.
In the context of economic development, workers (NLĐ) are under a lot of pressure regarding jobs and income, so they need to equip themselves with legal knowledge to prevent risks. However, many workers still have limited understanding, are violated in their rights but do not dare to speak out.
The Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation said that when they understand the regulations on labor contracts, wages, working hours and insurance regimes, employees can proactively protect their rights. In fact, many cases have been resolved after boldly complaining, such as retroactive payment of wages and additional social insurance contributions.
However, the situation of businesses delaying and owing social insurance and health insurance still occurs, directly affecting the rights of workers, while the psychology of fear of losing jobs makes many people afraid to complain.
To overcome this, trade union levels have implemented many flexible forms of propaganda. Including direct consultation at enterprises, mobile propaganda, organizing contests, and stage performances. The content focuses on the Labor Code, Trade Union Law, Social Insurance Law, Health Insurance Law and regulations on occupational safety and hygiene.
In 2025, the whole province had 400,700 turns of workers being legally propagated. In the first quarter of 2026, trade union levels continued to disseminate laws to 296,856 turns of union members and workers. At the same time, 1,213 workers were trained and improved their professional skills.
Mr. Luong Trong Thanh, Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, said that in the coming time, the trade union organization will continue to promote legal propaganda. At the same time, strengthen coordination in inspecting and examining the implementation of policies at enterprises.
Improving legal knowledge for workers is an important solution. This is also the foundation for building harmonious and stable labor relations, contributing to the sustainable development of businesses and society.
