On October 13, the Tien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor (FLD) held a scholarship awarding ceremony for children of union members and workers.
At the ceremony, the Tien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor awarded 70 scholarships and gifts to students who are children of union members, workers and civil servants in Tien Giang province. These students, currently studying from grade 1 to grade 12 and second-year students of Tien Giang University, have excellent academic achievements, are from difficult and extremely difficult circumstances in the province, with a total cash value of 80 million VND.
Mr. Le Minh Hung - Chairman of the Tien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor - emphasized that the scholarships were awarded in a timely manner to commend, encourage and support the children of union members, workers and civil servants who are in difficult circumstances and have good academic performance; contributing to encouraging them to study and improve their lives.
