Along with the Special Art Program to honor outstanding female cadres and union members of the Capital Trade Union in 2025, this is an activity to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Hanoi Party Committee (March 17, 1930 - March 17, 2025), the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day on March 8, 1985, the anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung uprising, the 60th anniversary of the "Three Nguoi Can" women's movement.
In his opening speech, Mr. Pham Quang Thanh - Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Hanoi City Confederation of Labor said that with more than 400,000 female union members and workers (accounting for 57% of the total number of union members) present in all areas of work, from participating in management work, to expertise and direct production; from family to work, promoting the fighting spirit of women in the world, Hai Ba Trung spirit, the spirit of "Three guarantees", continuing the tradition of Vietnamese women built through many generations, female workers in the capital have continuously promoted their abilities and creativity in all areas of social life, actively contributing to the common development of the capital and the country.
In that proud and glorious journey, the Trade Union organization is always present, with the responsibility of accompanying and making efforts to build the capital's female employees into a high-quality human resource, comprehensively developing both their intelligence, physical strength and spirit, training and striving to become female employees "Good at public work, Good at housework".
In 2024, the emulation movement "Good at public work, Good at housework" continued to be deployed by the Capital's Trade Unions at all levels, organized and widely implemented among female union members and workers, achieving many results, contributing significantly to the achievements of the labor movement and the activities of the Hanoi City Trade Union.
Trade unions at all levels have implemented the emulation movement "Good at public work, Good at housework" associated with emulation movements launched by the Central and the City. Specificate the content and standards of emulation in accordance with the characteristics of the situation and the requirements of each unit, attracting a large number of female union members and workers to participate.
In 2024, nearly 372,000 female union members and workers registered to perform and achieve the title of "Good at public work, Good at housework"; 29,672 female union members and workers, 5,581 collectives were rewarded in the "Good at two" emulation movement; 36,946 exemplary families of employees were commended; 50,925 employees with high achievements in the 2023-2024 school year were commended and rewarded.
At the ceremony, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor commended and rewarded 4 groups and 4 individuals. The Hanoi City Labor Federation commended and rewarded 4 groups and 5 individuals.
On this occasion, 20 female union members in difficult circumstances represented 1,000 female union members in difficult circumstances to receive support from the Hanoi City Labor Federation.
In particular, to express gratitude for the contributions, responsibility and enthusiasm of the team of Trade Union officials at all levels; encourage and motivate female union officials and union members who are excellent in work, labor, production and Trade Union activities, the Hanoi City Labor Federation organizes the "Special Art Program".
