According to the plan to organize activities "Month of listening to union members and workers speak" of the Hanoi Labor Federation, the target set is that 100% of trade unions in communes and wards organize meetings and dialogues between heads of Party committees and authorities with union members and workers in the area; strive for at least 80% of grassroots trade unions to organize dialogues, listen to opinions, proposals, reflections, and recommendations of workers.
One of the purposes and requirements of organizing the activity "Month of listening to union members and workers speak" is to create a forum for union members and workers in the Capital to directly express their thoughts, aspirations, recommendations, proposals and reflect issues related to employment, wages, income, working conditions, social security, material and spiritual life and other contents related to the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
The activity "Month of listening to union members and workers speak" must be implemented seriously, synchronously, and effectively, associated with the preliminary review of 5 years of implementing Resolution 02-NQ/TW of the Politburo on innovating the organization and operation of Vietnam Trade Unions in the new situation.
The dialogue content is close to reality, originating from the needs and aspirations of union members and workers, focusing on issues that are of great concern to union members and workers; ensuring the promotion of democracy, publicity, transparency, creating favorable conditions for union members and workers to directly dialogue, reflect opinions and recommendations; encouraging frank and open dialogue, in the spirit of constructiveness, respect, cooperation and jointly towards common goals.
After the dialogue, opinions and recommendations must be fully summarized, classified, and answered according to authority; trade union levels proactively monitor, urge, and supervise the settlement after the dialogue, and promptly inform union members and workers of the results.
This activity is organized in July 2026 with the content: Organizing meetings and dialogues with content focusing on practical issues that are of concern to union members and workers such as: employment, wages, bonuses, income, working hours, rest hours; working conditions, safety, occupational hygiene; shift meals; social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance regimes; housing, kindergartens, cultural institutions; training and fostering vocational skills, digital transformation, green transformation; promoting initiatives, deploying the emulation movement "Good labor, high productivity, good income"...
