Mr. Le Dinh Hung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL), Permanent Vice President of the Hanoi City Confederation of Labor - and the delegation visited and presented gifts to 50 workers.
50 workers received gifts, each worth 1 million VND in cash and a gift worth 300,000 VND from 4 companies: Noble Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd.; Nidec Chaun Choung Vietnam Co., Ltd.; CVI Pharmaceutical and Cosmetics Joint Stock Company; Vietnam High-Tech Molds and Products Co., Ltd.
At the places visited, leaders of the City Labor Federation listened to representatives of enterprises inform about the production and business situation of the unit; the working life, income of workers and the Tet care for union members and workers of the enterprises.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the City Labor Federation expressed his joy that the production and business activities of enterprises are more stable and developed than in previous years; the life, employment, income, and benefits for employees are guaranteed; the payment of salaries and Tet bonuses is well implemented and the activities to care for employees during Tet are effectively implemented by enterprises.
The Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation hopes that in the coming time, the production and business activities of enterprises will increasingly develop; the working life, income and benefits for employees will be increasingly improved; employees will be more attached and devoted to the common development of the enterprise; especially, after Tet holiday, employees will return to work on time as prescribed by the enterprise.
For the Trade Union organization at the enterprise, the Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation recommends that the Executive Board of the grassroots trade union should propagate and mobilize union members and workers to work enthusiastically in production, promote innovative initiatives to improve labor productivity and long-term commitment to the enterprise. The Executive Board of the grassroots trade union should promote the spirit of initiative in negotiating and signing collective labor agreements with employers to bring more benefits to union members and workers than prescribed by law, focusing on improving working conditions, shift meals, rest hours, etc.
