The Hanoi City Labor Federation is currently guiding and directing the activities of 21 University and College Trade Unions with a total of 5,455 cadres, teachers, and workers, including 5,279 union members.
The school unions have closely coordinated with the government to take care of the material life of cadres and union members, finding many measures to ensure monthly income; implementing well policies such as social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, regular and early salary increases, overtime, seniority allowances, and bonuses on holidays and Tet during the year.
Not only taking care of teachers, union members, and workers, the school unions also promote emulation movements among staff, teachers, and workers, especially the movements: "Good workers", "Creative workers" with rich and practical content.
These emulation movements focus on "Good teaching, good learning, good management", "Good at school work - Good at home work", "Good people, Good deeds", "Skillful in mass mobilization", campaigns "Each teacher is an example of morality, self-study and creativity", "Innovation in teaching and learning"...
In particular, emulation movements are always associated with the implementation of political tasks of schools and are carried out enthusiastically and widely with many diverse and rich forms, so they are widely responded by union members, cadres, teachers and workers.
The Union has encouraged union members, cadres, teachers and workers to actively participate in scientific research, write experience initiatives; organize "Excellent Teacher" competitions... contributing to improving the quality of management, teaching and teaching services.
With emulation movements, teachers actively innovate teaching and learning methods, promote initiatives, improve and compile programs and textbooks.
Through emulation, in the 2023 - 2024 school year, 35 collectives and 101 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by ministries, branches, and the City; 161 emulation fighters at the ministerial and branch levels; 763 grassroots emulation fighters; 165 excellent teachers at all levels; 607 scientific research topics at the state, ministerial, and school levels were promoted and effectively applied in teaching and learning; many collectives and individuals were rewarded...
