In Vietnam, Pickleball is entering a period of rapid growth in recent years. The number of training grounds and clubs is constantly increasing, showing that this sport is no longer stopping at a short-term trend but is forming a large-scale sports community.
The number of training grounds nationwide is approaching the threshold of 600 and is particularly strong in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Da Nang. As the number of players increases rapidly, the need for coaches who are well-trained according to international standards is also becoming more urgent.
That is also the reason why many international Pickleball organizations are investing heavily in coach training. With the orientation of inspiring and building a sustainable development community, RacketPro Organization (RPO) - an international Pickleball coach training organization - has officially announced the RacketPro APAC Pickleball Tour 2026 series of events.
RPO aims to spread the "Touching the Golden Standard" mission, aiming to build a professional Pickleball coach standard for the Asia-Pacific region.

According to RPO's strategy, Malaysia, Vietnam and the Philippines will become three key markets in 2026. Before coming to Vietnam, the series Workshop Level 1 of this organization was completed in Malaysia with more than 130 coaches participating in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Sarawak and Sabah. Continuing the journey, training courses will be held in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and many other cities in the region.
The focus of this year's APAC Tour is COEBRA 2026 - a high-intensity training program exclusively for professional Pickleball coaches. Unlike many traditional training models that only focus on technique, COEBRA aims to comprehensively develop coaches, from tactical thinking, teaching methods to athlete development and community building capabilities.
That philosophy is summarized by RPO through the message: "Pioneering thinking, drastic action and flexible adaptation". According to this organization, the ultimate goal is not only to train people who know how to play Pickleball but to build a generation of coaches capable of leading, developing the community and creating sustainable values for the sport.
This year's program gathers 15 coaches from 8 Asian countries and is led by a team of RPO international experts, including Collin Johns - RPO Global Training Director and one of the most successful men's doubles players in the world.
Sharing at the event, Collin Johns said: "As Pickleball continues to develop strongly across Asia, the future of this sport will depend on leaders who are able to educate, advise and inspire the next generation of players.
Agreeing with this view, Mr. Connor Nguyen, CEO of RPO APAC - said that training programs not only help improve expertise but also create opportunities for coaches, athletes and partners to connect, share experiences and contribute to building a sustainable Pickleball ecosystem for the region.
