Launching the large-scale Youth Pickleball Tournament

On the afternoon of June 8, the launching ceremony of the Vietnam Pickleball Open Cup - Future Stars 2026 (VPC) Saigon leg took place in Ho Chi Minh City.

The tournament is organized by New Sports Joint Stock Company in coordination with Thieu Nien Tien Phong Newspaper and Nhi Dong Newspaper, continuing the success of the Hanoi leg held in January 2026. The event marks the next step in the development of one of the largest young pickleball tournaments in the country, aiming to build a professional playground for young athletes, and at the same time contribute to promoting the development of the pickleball movement in Vietnam.

VPC Future Stars 2026 Saigon leg will take place from June 12 to 14 at the NSC The Global City court complex. The competition area is divided into 3 clusters with 11 covered courts and 3 indoor courts, installed according to international standards. This is also the venue that hosted PPA Tour Asia - MB Vietnam Open 2025, the first international pickleball tournament held in Vietnam.

Athletes will compete in men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles in age groups U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18. According to the competition schedule, on June 12th, the singles events will take place; June 13th are the men's and women's doubles events; June 14th are the mixed doubles events. The matches are expected to take place continuously from 7:30 am to 8:30 pm daily.

In parallel with the opportunity to compete, learn and accumulate experience, athletes will compete to win worthy rewards for their efforts and achievements. In individual events, the champion athlete will receive a prize worth 2 million VND, the second prize will receive 1 million VND and the third prize will receive 500,000 VND.

For doubles events, the first prize receives 3 million VND, the second prize receives 2 million VND and the third prize receives 1 million VND. In addition to bonuses, athletes with high achievements are also awarded championship cups, medals, certificates of merit, and many gifts from sponsors.

VPC Future Stars 2026 expects to create more quality competition opportunities for young athletes, helping them accumulate experience, develop skills and gradually prepare for larger playgrounds in the future. At the same time, the tournament also contributes to spreading the positive sports spirit, encouraging the young generation to train physically and pursue a dynamic lifestyle.

With careful preparation from the organizers and the companionship of sponsors, Vietnam Pickleball Open Cup - Future Stars 2026 Saigon leg is expected to continue to create a vibrant sports festival for the young generation of athletes, contributing to building a sustainable development foundation for Vietnamese pickleball in the coming years.
