The tournament is co-organized by America & Asia Link Co., Ltd. (AAC) and FPT Play, and is expected to gather nearly 600 domestic and Asia-Pacific regional athletes to compete in 5 events including men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles.
According to the organizers, the tournament aims to build a professional playground, contributing to promoting the development of pickleball in Vietnam as well as strengthening connections with the international pickleball community.
The matches will apply the Rally Scoring format (direct scoring). In which, the group stage is played in the BO1 rally 15 format, the direct qualifying round is played in the BO1 rally 21 and the final applies the BO3 rally 15.

The organizers said that this format is expected to help matches have high speed, increase competitiveness and create many attractive tactical situations.
Mr. Duong Quang Thuan - Director of AAC said that the tournament is not only a place for athletes to compete but also contributes to affirming Vietnam's capacity to organize international sports events.
Meanwhile, FPT Play continues to accompany as a co-organizer and broadcaster. Previously, this unit had participated in organizing a number of international pickleball events in Vietnam.
According to a representative of FPT Play, the entire tournament schedule will be broadcast on digital platforms with production standards equivalent to many professional pickleball tournaments in the region.
The professional work of the tournament is undertaken by PVNA, while Pickleball World Communications is in charge of international communication to support the promotion of the tournament's image and the athletes.
The Michelob ULTRA Pickleball Tournament - Asian Open 2026 is expected to continue to create more attraction for the pickleball movement in Vietnam in the context that this sport has been developing strongly in recent years.
