The Open (professional) finals of the Michelob ULTRA Pickleball Tournament - Asian Open 2026 took place at the VIAS Pickleball Academy central court (Tan Hung ward, Ho Chi Minh City), attracting a large number of spectators to watch live and through the FPT Play platform.
In the women's singles event, Dutch player Roos Van Reek showed superior form when defeating Sophia Tran Phuong Anh with a score of 21-11, 21-12. With the advantage of physique and strong and accurate attacking style, Van Reek quickly completely controlled the game, continuously scoring decisive points to win the convincing championship.
The men's singles final is the highlight match between Phuc Huynh and Ly Hoang Nam. After 3 tense sets, Phuc Huynh won the overall victory 21-13, 21-23, 21-11. This is the 2nd consecutive time Phuc Huynh has overcome Ly Hoang Nam since September 2025, and also made the Vietnamese player miss the opportunity to complete the "Triple Crown" (champion in all three men's singles, men's doubles and mixed doubles events) at the tournament.

In the remaining events, the women's doubles witnessed the victory of the pair Roos Van Reek - Vivian Glozman with a score of 21-7, 21-19. The men's doubles event belonged to the pair Quang Duong - Harsh Mehta after overcoming Ly Hoang Nam - Nick Khamphi with a score of 21-16, 17-21, 21-17.

This year's tournament has a total prize value of about 3 billion VND, gathering more than 350 amateur players and nearly 170 professional athletes from home and abroad. With the message "Step into the Flow", the tournament emphasizes the spirit of concentration, flexibility and accuracy in each ball phase.
A notable highlight is the application of a synchronous technology operating system through the Sporttora platform, supporting from registration, draw to livecore updates. This is also one of the pickleball tournaments in Vietnam that for the first time applies the Rally format (direct scoring for each ball phase), helping to increase the speed and competitiveness of the match.
The tournament is co-organized by FPT Play and related units, with the companionship of the sponsor Michelob ULTRA, along with AB InBev Group and international professional and media partners.
