On August 16, in Da Nang City, the Organizing Committee of the Heineken Pickleball World Cup 2026 organized the official draw for the tournament.
This is not only the time to determine the first groups of the National Division, but also an opportunity for the Organizing Committee to announce the outstanding highlights of the event, introduce sponsors and strategic partners. Update on the Vietnamese Team and share special highlights before the international pickleball community gathers in Da Nang.

With more than 4,900 athletes from 80 countries and territories registered, Heineken Pickleball World Cup 2026 is gradually realizing the goal of creating an international-scale meeting point for the pickleball community in Da Nang.
In parallel with the National category, the Organizing Committee is continuing to complete the list of professional athletes belonging to the PPA and APP systems, along with many outstanding faces of Vietnamese and international pickleball.

To date, many athletes have confirmed their participation, including Phuc Huynh, Ly Hoang Nam, Truong Vinh Hien, Sophia Phuong Anh, Sophia Huynh Tran of Vietnam; Roos Van Reek (Netherlands); Quang Duong, Jack Munro, Vivian Glozman, Bobbi Oshiro (USA); Jack Wong (Hong Kong - China); Nicola Schoeman (Australia); Harsh Mehta (India); Jay Devilliers (France) and many other athletes.
According to the draw results, in the Open category (16 groups): The Vietnamese team is in Group A with opponents Colombia, Cayman Islands and Chile. Junior category (4 groups): The Vietnamese team is in Group A with Malaysia, Costa Rica and South Korea. Kids category (4 groups): The Vietnamese team is in Group A with Australia (Australia) and Singapore.

The appearance of professional players from many different pickleball backgrounds is expected to bring exciting competitions, while increasing the internationality and professional quality of the tournament.
