On June 13, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province coordinated with the Vietnam Football Federation, Tien Tien and Nhien Dong Newspaper and related units to organize the opening ceremony of the 2025 National Youth and Children's Football Tournament qualifiers.
The qualifying round of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau U11 Group Tournament has the participation of 15 Southern region football teams. The teams are divided into 3 groups, competing in a round-robin to calculate points at Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Gymnasium to select a team for the final round, scheduled to take place in Quang Nam from July 24 to August 6.
The qualifying round of the U13 Group III Tournament took place at Long Tam Stadium (Ba Ria City), with the participation of 18 Southern region football teams. The teams are divided into 4 groups, competing in a round robin to calculate points to select the best team to participate in the final round, expected to take place from July 1-15 in Binh Duong with the participation of 16 excellent teams in the qualifying rounds.
According to the plan, the qualifying matches held in Ba Ria - Vung Tau of the U11, U13 Southern region tournament will take place from June 13 to June 21.
