The workshop was an opportunity for officials, union members and young people to raise awareness of issues related to traffic safety and skills for safe traffic participation. Delegates listened to units sharing about the coordination between the Youth Union and functional agencies in the work of propagating and disseminating traffic safety laws, especially measures to help improve traffic safety for students.
The units discussed and shared experiences and results of implementing the “Peaceful School Gate” model in schools. At the same time, they proposed further solutions to expand and promote the effectiveness of the model.
This model not only helps ensure traffic safety for students, but also promotes the role of union members and youth in promoting traffic safety to the community.
Within the framework of the workshop, the Standing Committee of the City Youth Union also commended and rewarded collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the "Peaceful School Gate" model as well as organizing the award ceremony of the Traffic Safety Propaganda Clip Creation Contest and the 2024 Da Nang Children's Traffic Culture Painting Contest. These activities help raise awareness among students and the community about safe traffic participation.
