The National Conference on Law, Justice and Development with the theme "Legal framework and technology solutions for the circular economy model towards sustainable development" was co-organized by UEF with Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam International Arbitration Center and Vietnam Commercial Arbitration Center No. 1 on April 21.
The conference attracted 183 papers in Vietnamese and English by scientists, researchers, and experts in many fields. The papers and perspectives of scientists and researchers contributed to evaluating and recognizing the regulations and system of legal institutions on policies, technology and innovation, towards a sustainable development economy today.
Three main contents covering aspects of the legal framework and technology solutions for the circular economy model towards sustainable development are presented, including: Legal framework and institutional improvement on the circular economy; Expanded responsibility of producers (EPR) and economic - financial tools promoting the circular economy; Digital transformation, technology solutions and industry applications in the circular economy.

Dr. Ngo Minh Hai - Vice Rector in charge of science and technology activities of UEF - shared: The workshop focused on the circular economy, an inevitable trend in the era of sustainable development. Building a solid legal framework accompanied by advanced technology solutions is the key for Vietnamese businesses to transform from traditional growth models to sustainable and globally competitive development models.
The conference is an effort to connect experts, policymakers and the business community to create practical initiatives, directly contributing to the national Net Zero goal, with the process of knowledge transfer, training a young generation of human resources with justice thinking and understanding of technology, UEF is ready to accompany the economic breakthrough of Ho Chi Minh City and the whole country”.
On this occasion, UEF signed a memorandum of understanding with seven units including: law firms, arbitration centers, businesses, notary offices, and law magazines.
Signing with these multi-sectoral partners will help expand the cooperation network of the Faculty of Law of UEF in particular and UEF in general, develop the school - student - business ecosystem, ensure the quality of graduates for students; strengthen scientific research, and exchange lecturers.
