Link "3 houses
At the Conference "Promoting State - University - Enterprise linkages in the spirit of Resolution 71-NQ/TW" organized by the Vietnam National University of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan - Director of the Academy emphasized that Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo requires that higher education must be linked to the needs of national development, science and technology, innovation, digital transformation and linked to the reality of the labor market.
From the challenges that the agricultural and environmental sectors face, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan believes that the "3 houses" linkage: the State, schools and businesses need to go deeper, more substantively and accompany each other throughout the training, research, innovation and human resource development process.

The State cannot just issue policies and wait for implementation. Schools cannot only train in lecture halls. Businesses cannot only recruit workers after training.
Businesses need to participate from the process of identifying human resource needs, building training programs, organizing practice - internships, scientific research, innovation to technology commercialization. Schools not only train job seekers, but also need to train people who are capable of mastering technology, innovation and creating jobs in the future. The State plays a role in creating institutions, strategic orientation and creating a favorable environment for all parties to develop together.
The Vietnam National University of Agriculture is very aware that, to train high-quality human resources, it must be linked to production practice and business needs; to make scientific research valuable, research results must go into businesses, cooperatives and life; to have students with competitiveness, they must study in an open, innovative and linked to the labor market ecosystem" - Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan emphasized.
Key to developing human resources in the new era
According to Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Nguyen Quoc Tri, Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo sets out a very clear requirement: to take science and technology, innovation, digital transformation and high-quality human resources as the key driving force for national development in the new period.
The "3 houses" linkage is no longer an option, but has become an inevitable requirement of development. The State plays a role in creating development, building institutions, policies and creating a favorable environment. Universities and research institutes are places to create new knowledge, new technologies, and new human resources. Enterprises are the center of innovation, places to apply technology, commercialize scientific products and expand markets.
If these three subjects are not closely linked together, research will be difficult to put into practice; businesses will lack the motivation to innovate technology; and people will find it difficult to fully benefit from scientific and technological achievements" - Deputy Minister Nguyen Quoc Tri emphasized.

Mr. Nguyen Van Minh - Deputy General Director of BAF Vietnam Agriculture Joint Stock Company wishes to strengthen "business semesters", bringing more students to production facilities to practice vocational skills and get acquainted with the actual working environment.
The company is ready to receive unlimited interns in many fields from animal husbandry, veterinary medicine to economics, information technology, high-tech mechanics, and at the same time support food and accommodation costs and allowances for interns.
In the coming time, the Vietnam National University of Agriculture will strongly promote the order-based training mechanism between the State, businesses, localities and the Academy; training associated with job positions, professional skills and practical requirements of the industry. In addition, the Academy strongly shifts scientific research and technology transfer activities in the direction of starting from the practical problems of businesses, cooperatives and localities; together forming joint research groups, demonstration models and technology task chains directly serving agricultural and environmental development.
