At the 1st Vietnam International Seafood Science and Technology Exhibition - VinaFIS Expo 2026, a noteworthy highlight from Dong Thap province is the participation of innovative startup Alpha Amin. With biological solutions applying indigenous microorganisms in aquaculture, the enterprise was honored with the Silver Award of Vietnam Seafood Quality (Vinafis Award 2025) in the supplementary feed category.

It is known that Alpha Amin's products aim to replace antibiotics in farming, strengthen immunity for livestock and optimize production costs. This is considered a direction in line with the trend of sustainable development, meeting the increasingly strict requirements of the export market for food safety and traceability.
Winning the national award not only affirms the research and development capacity of young businesses but also shows the potential of the innovative startup ecosystem in the seafood sector in Dong Thap.
Alpha Amin Production - Trading Co., Ltd. is a business operating in Dong Thap, specializing in producing and trading animal feed, poultry, seafood... located in Binh Hang Trung commune, founded and directly operated by engineer couple 9x generation Nguyen Trung Tinh. Engineer Tinh was once reported by Lao Dong newspaper as a role model of overcoming difficulties: "From a student who almost dropped out of school to the owner of a green seafood factory".

The event that Alpha Amin participates in is within the framework of the National Seafood and Fisheries Resources Surveillance Science and Technology Conference 2026, taking place on April 27-28 at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), Ho Chi Minh City. Along with the conference is the VinaFIS Expo 2026 Exhibition, held from April 28-30, gathering about 300 delegates and nearly 200 domestic and international booths, covering the entire value chain of the seafood industry.
The conference was organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, to summarize the results achieved in the 2021–2025 period, and at the same time orient the key science and technology program for the 2026–2030 period. The content focuses on key areas such as aquaculture, nutrition, biotechnology, disease management, resource protection and digital transformation.
The topics all aim to develop the seafood industry towards sustainability, circular economy and value increase. Meanwhile, VinaFIS Expo 2026 plays the role of a connecting and technology transfer space, creating conditions for businesses, scientists, managers and international partners to meet and cooperate.

The participation of many foreign organizations, associations and businesses contributes to promoting the formation of an innovation ecosystem for the entire industry, from research to practical application. The Organizing Committee expects the series of events to create motivation to promote the "three houses" linkage including Managers - Scientists - Businesses, thereby strengthening the application of science and technology in production, improving the competitiveness and position of Vietnamese seafood in the global market. At the same time, the presence and success of startups such as Alpha Amin also shows the increasingly important role of young business forces in the innovation and sustainable development of the industry.
