According to the first-grade enrollment plan for the 2026-2027 school year of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the integrated grade 1 program is organized in schools that meet the conditions for facilities and staff according to the local first-grade enrollment plan.
The local enrollment steering committees are responsible for reviewing and supplementing equipment, classrooms, ensuring teaching and learning requirements and experimental practice according to regulations.
Enrollment work is implemented in the form of registration in parallel with the mass program, applied to all students in Ho Chi Minh City, without administrative limits.
Schools develop admission criteria in priority order: Students with current residence in the ward or commune where the school is headquartered; Students in adjacent areas; Other criteria specified by the educational institution in accordance with actual conditions.
The list of admitted students is approved by the local Enrollment Steering Committee based on the proposals of the schools.
The results of admission to the integrated program will be announced before the general program. Students who are not admitted are still guaranteed to be assigned to classes according to the general education program.
The program is taught according to the 2018 General Education Program and Ho Chi Minh City's own roadmap, with a class size of no more than 35 students per class.
