On January 13, Yen Hoa Ward People's Committee organized the Science and Technology Festival and officially deployed the Cau Giay Digital School digital school management system at Cau Giay Secondary School, marking an important shift in the application of technology in the management, administration and teaching of the school.
Cau Giay Secondary School launches digital school governance system
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, Mr. Luu Van Thong - Principal of Cau Giay Secondary School said that the most important highlight of the program is the launch and commissioning of the Digital School Management System - Cau Giay Digital School.
According to Mr. Thong, the system is built to aim for the Digital School model, in which teaching, management and operation activities are supported by a unified platform.
Building digital infrastructure, not just software
The Principal of Cau Giay Secondary School emphasized that the school does not approach the system as a separate software, but considers it a digital infrastructure that comprehensively supports educational activities.
Specifically, the system helps to centrally manage teacher, student, and classroom data; support professional operation, education and emulation plans; reduce overlap between tools and gradually form a data-based working style in schools.
Putting the system into operation from January 13 marks a transition from preparation to use, from testing to daily work.
Digital transformation in education is an urgent requirement
Speaking at the program, Vice Chairman of Yen Hoa Ward People's Committee Nguyen Minh Cuong said that implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW and Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo, Party Committee, People's Council, Ward People's Committee determined that digital transformation in school governance is an inevitable trend and an urgent requirement in the current period.
According to Mr. Cuong, the digital school governance system operated at Cau Giay Secondary School is an important starting step in building a modern school governance model, based on data, effectively supporting management, administration and teaching.
Towards connecting and sharing educational data
The digital school governance system is not just a single software, but an overall management tool, aimed at centralized management of teacher, student, classroom data, professional plans and educational activities," Mr. Nguyen Minh Cuong emphasized.
At the same time, the system creates a platform for schools to gradually connect and share data according to the general orientation of the industry and the city. After the pilot implementation phase, drawing experience, Yen Hoa Ward People's Committee will consider replicating the model to educational institutions in the area according to a suitable roadmap.
Experience week linking technology with educational activities
Within the framework of the Experience Week, in addition to Science and Technology Day, students of Cau Giay Secondary School also participate in many rich activities.
Specifically, Integration Day (January 14) with English speaking activities throughout the school, making videos introducing classes, English dubbing contests; Dynamic Day (January 15) with sports games, individual and team sports.
The highlight is Intellectual Day (January 16), with intellectual playgrounds such as Cau Giay Intellect Challenge (according to the format Road to Olympia Peak for blocks 8, 9) and Ringing the Golden Bell (blocks 6, 7).
