Attending the ceremony were comrades: Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Minister of National Defense; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of National Defense, Military Region 7 and Ho Chi Minh City.
Along with that, more than 3,000 officers and soldiers of the Ho Chi Minh City Armed Forces participated in the launching ceremony of 34 groups, of which the Ho Chi Minh City Command had 31 groups (13 women's groups, 18 men's groups), the Ho Chi Minh City Police had 2 groups (1 men's group, 1 women's group), and the Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard had 1 men's group. The vehicle block includes motorbikes, cars, and armored vehicles of the Ho Chi Minh City Command and the Ho Chi Minh City Police.
After the solemn ceremony, there was a festival with the following contents: Martial arts performance, gun dance performance of the 31st Guards - Military Control Battalion and the District 8 Self-Defense Women's Union; performing dances and collective songs performed by officers, soldiers of the city's armed forces and youth union members of the city.
This is one of the important events, opening the way for achievements to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1990 - May 19, 2025).
