Instead of each household having to manage to pay for labor rental and materials transportation, many villages have organized in groups, together buying materials to reduce prices, and contributing their own efforts when each household builds.
From the beginning of 2025 to now, people in the whole province have contributed more than 25,000 working days, thousands of tons of materials and nearly 500 billion VND to socialized funding. Thanks to that, thousands of new houses have been completed, helping poor households stabilize their lives.
In Van Quan, many poor households have built houses together in the form of exchange. Households said that if they only rely on their families, they will not have enough money to hire workers, but if they ask the people to contribute together, the new houses of the families will be completed faster, saving tens of millions of VND.
The important thing is that the entire process is closely monitored by the government. The Provincial People's Committee has issued a "6 clear" regulation: clear people, clear work, clear responsibilities, clear authority, clear time, clear results. The commune government is responsible for reviewing the correct subjects, monitoring each construction stage and accepting the quality of the project. Thanks to that, all support resources are public and transparent, preventing any deviation.
The model of disadvantaged households supporting each other to build collective houses in Lang Son not only saves costs but also arouses the spirit of solidarity, creating motivation for people to escape poverty. This approach shows that when people are the subject of action, the government plays a role in supervision and coordination, the results achieved will be more sustainable and widespread.
This movement has been practically contributing to the emulation movement "For the poor - No one is left behind" in the period of 2021 - 2025 that the whole country is joining hands to implement.
