Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Hoang Van Phuc - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province - requested departments, branches and localities to organize a swimming practice movement, disseminate safety skills in the water environment at all swimming pools in the area during the summer. At the same time, encourage units to promote socialization in building swimming pools and purchasing equipment for safe swimming learning.
According to the leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province, drowning is still the leading cause of death for all ages, especially children. The main reason is the lack of swimming skills and knowledge to prevent drowning accidents.

The reality in Nghe An shows that although many people know how to swim well, they still have accidents due to lack of skills in handling situations.
At the launching ceremony, the organizing committee presented hundreds of life jackets and swimming glasses to schools and students, and disseminated swimming skills and practical situation handling skills to them.
This is a meaningful activity, contributing to mobilizing the entire population, especially children, to actively learn swimming, improve health and limit drowning accidents.
