On the evening of April 12, information from the People's Committee of Van Son commune, Trieu Son district, Thanh Hoa province said that a drowning incident had just occurred in the area, killing 2 students.
According to initial information, at around 5:00 p.m. the same day, a group of 10th grade students in Nong Truong commune went to the Cromite mine area in Van Son commune, Trieu Son district to play football. After that, the children went swimming in a nearby lake. While swimming, the two students unfortunately drowned.
Upon receiving the news, local authorities and authorities quickly arrived at the scene to conduct the search.
After a period of effort, the authorities found the bodies of the two students. The victims' bodies were then handed over to their families for burial according to local customs.
