The exhibition "Spring Emotion" is taking place at the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association, attracting the attention of professionals and art lovers. With 106 multi-material works such as oil paint, lacquer, acrylic, watercolor..., artist Doan Mai Thuy brings an art space full of introspection, where spring is not only scenery but also an inner flow.
The works in the exhibition are created over a decade, expressing a deep contemplation of life, people and nature. There, viewers can easily encounter bright colors, suggesting a beginning, a rebirth; interspersed with quiet colors, like moments of silence to contemplate memories and time.
According to artist Doan Mai Thuy, this exhibition is a special milestone marking 30 years of her attachment to painting. For her, spring is not only the time of nature but also a symbol of hope and new beginnings. "I hope viewers when entering the exhibition space will have the opportunity to dialogue with themselves, find empathy through each work," the female artist shared.

The highlight in Doan Mai Thuy's creation is the combination of reality and abstraction, in which emotional elements are put first. Lines, shapes and colors are not simply shaping, but become "language" to convey the artist's inner self. This is also the direction that many world-renowned painters such as Wassily Kandinsky or Mark Rothko have pursued.
Experts assess that Doan Mai Thuy's paintings have their own mark, both soft, feminine but also full of inner strength. The intentional repetition of motifs, along with sophisticated color layering techniques, creates visual and emotional depth. In particular, the use of contrasting but harmonious colors helps each work become an unspoken "story".

Not only an art exhibition, "Spring Emotion" is also a narrative journey of an artist who has persistently pursued his passion for many years. From personal experiences, love of nature to contemplation of life, everything is filtered and expressed through each painting.
