Proud of 80 years of national achievements
On the morning of August 28, the National Achievements Exhibition with the theme "80 years of independence - freedom - Happiness" officially opened at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi).
This is a special political and cultural event to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (1945 - 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
The National Achievements Exhibition took place on the largest scale ever, gathering the combined strength of 28 ministries, central branches, 34 localities and more than 110 leading economic enterprises and groups.
On the large area of the National Exhibition Center, more than 230 booths are arranged scientifically and modernly, creating a large-scale, multi-layered, colorful display space of the country.

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Head of the Exhibition Organizing Committee Nguyen Van Hung said: "The exhibition is not only an exhibition event but also a space connecting the past - present - future, between patriotism and the desire for development, between traditional values and modern technology. Thereby affirming the stature of the Vietnamese people on the 50-year journey of preserving and promoting the values of Independence - freedom - Happiness".
The biggest exhibition ever
The National Achievements Exhibition is held on the largest scale ever, with the participation of 28 ministries, central agencies, 34 localities and more than 110 large economic enterprises and groups with more than 230 booths on the entire exhibition center area.
The exhibition introduces the achievements of nearly 180 occupations, from industry, agriculture, trade, science - technology to culture, education, health, national defense, security, foreign affairs, etc.

Applying modern technology such as 3D, virtual reality, multimedia, artificial intelligence, the exhibition not only brings the public an intuitive and vivid experience but also a source of pride and emotion about the country's resilient and breakthrough development.
The exhibition is organized in an open, multi-storey manner on an area of nearly 260,000m2 indoors and outdoors of the National Exhibition Center, including three main subdivisions.
The general exhibition area at Kim Quy Exhibition House with the theme "Vietnam - Journey to the New Era" introduces the achievements of 80 years of building and developing the country, culture - people of Vietnam, the identity of 54 ethnic groups, resources - products of the three regions, typical architectural works, along with thematic spaces such as "95 years of the Party flag rising the road", "rich province, strong country" and displays the achievements of the business community.

The outdoor exhibition area at the Western, Southern and Eastern courts with the theme "Integration and Development" focuses on introducing green industry, digital transformation, national defense - security with the theme "Youth and shield", the aviation - aerospace industry with "Aspiration for the Sky", along with artistic activities, tourism, and cuisine.

The international subdivision and 12 cultural industries at the Block A exhibition house are organized with the theme "Integration and Creativity", displaying typical works and products in the "Vietnam and the World" space.
Applying modern technology such as virtual reality, enhanced reality, 3D models, interactive screens, helping the public experience vividly and intuitively.

The event is expected to become a major cultural highlight, attracting a large number of domestic and foreign visitors. In particular, before that, only four concerts at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC) attracted nearly 120,000 audiences, creating a strong influence in society.
The exhibition is open for free to the public and visitors from August 28 to September 5, 2025
