The EP "Nhấc máy" includes 4 tracks, including 3 main songs: "Nhấc máy", "Cuối gọi cuối" (combined with 52Hz), "Gọi cho anh" and a Prologue opening the story. The compositions in the project are by MiQ and Soulient, two members of the songwriting group Catchellers.
The noteworthy point of the EP is the first collaboration between Noo Phuoc Thinh and the music producer group DTAP in an official project. Previously, the two sides have repeatedly accompanied on major stages but have not had their own music products.
The three songs in the EP have three different colors. If Nhấc máy pursues modern Pop R&B material, the song Cuộc gọi cuối is an emotional ballad, then Gọi cho anh has a strong rock spirit. Not only investing in the listening part, all three songs are made into MVs and linked into a continuous story.
According to the crew, the storyline is told in reverse chronological order, starting from regrets after a breakup and gradually returning to the first memories of love. The three MVs correspond to three calls, reflecting familiar emotional levels of people who once loved, waited and wanted to reconnect with their exes.
One of the biggest surprises of the project is the appearance of Chi Pu in the female lead role throughout all three MVs. This is a rare time the female artist has accepted to participate in a large-scale MV project and take on the role of connecting the entire story.
The collaboration between Noo Phuoc Thinh and Chi Pu is expected to create attraction thanks to their outstanding appearance and cinematic frames. At the EP launch press conference, Chi Pu also suddenly appeared to congratulate colleagues, attracting the attention of the media and fans.
In addition, the song "Cuộc gọi cuối" also features 52Hz. The combination of two generations of artists brings a new color to the project, creating an emotional dialogue between Noo Phuoc Thinh's experienced voice and the youthful style of Gen Z singers.
Nearly 20 years of artistic activity, Noo Phuoc Thinh still shows efforts to innovate in approaching the audience. On this occasion, the male singer for the first time launched an official merchandise line for fans and deployed Fan Call activities, allowing audiences to chat directly with idols via phone.
