The first images were published showing the setting of Vietnamese kitchens, Northern wooden houses, the familiar sound of cutting knives and the bustling Tet atmosphere. Notably, a few moments of tense dialogue between Xuan Hinh and Thu Trang quickly aroused curiosity, when both had a meaningful "fighting" but the crew was determined to keep the relationship between the two characters confidential.
In the exchange, director Minh Beta said that the script was developed for nearly 2 years and edited more than 100 times to ensure every detail was realistic. The film crew also returned to Nam Dinh to learn a trade from artisans to properly recreate the traditional flavor of pho.
For the first time acting in a Tet movie, artist Xuan Hinh shared three words describing the experience: "motivating, attractive, interesting". For him, "Pho Muoi" has rich traditional values - something he has always preserved on his artistic journey. Artist Thanh Thanh Hien also collaborated in cinema with Xuan Hinh for the first time, considering this a meaningful experience after many years of working in the folk stage.
From the South, Thu Trang brings modern and individual energy, creating an interesting balance when standing next to the duo Xuan Hinh - Thanh Thanh Hien. This North-South combination promises to create many charming conflicts in the story of Tet.

The young cast such as Hai Trieu, Tien Loc, Cuong Ca or child actor Bao Nam also contributed their "unique flavors", creating a colorful whole like the "multi-layered pho bowl" that the film pursues.
The event also introduced two theme songs, in which artist Xuan Hinh caused excitement when performing the parody "Co be", expected to be the emotional highlight of the film.
Pho Scent has a warm, charming, humorous tone and traditional family stories, expected to premiere nationwide from the 1st of the Lunar New Year 2026.
