4 movies released for Tet this year include: "Thỏ ơi!!", "Nhà ba tôi một phòng", "Báu vật trời cho" and "Mùi phở". According to data from Box Office Vietnam, Tran Thanh's movie "Thỏ ơi!!" is currently approaching the 450 billion VND revenue mark, still in the top 5 movies with highest daily revenue after 1 month of screening.

Meanwhile, Truong Giang's movie "My Father's House, One Room" after a strong start has dropped to a rather low position, no longer appearing in this list. However, the revenue of the movie "My Father's House, One Room" and "Heavenly Treasure" has exceeded 100 billion - a relatively complete number for the recent Tet movie season.
The movie "Thỏ ơi!!" attracts attention thanks to exploiting the story of "infants" and toxic hidden corners in love, different from the usual gentle and humorous Tet movie template. Director Tran Thanh's brand and new content help the movie maintain its appeal to audiences.
Conversely, the movie "My Father's House, One Room" marks Truong Giang's challenge in the role of director, screenwriter and main actor. Although the topic of "single father raising children" is not new, the film is still expected thanks to the large investment and cameo cast from the program "2 Days 1 Night". However, after 1 month of screening, the film's appeal has decreased significantly due to the competition of new films such as "Tay", "Quỷ nhập tràng 2".
The remaining case is "Mui pho". The film exploits generational conflicts and concerns about preserving traditional crafts. Contrary to the producer's expectations, "Mui pho" is currently the only film that has not completed its "hundred billion" mission in the race with the remaining 3 films.

The achievements of the Tet film series after 1 month of release reflect a clear differentiation in audience tastes. They prioritize creativity, script quality and timely transmission, rather than just relying on the artist's name. Besides, the positive word-of-mouth from viewers is considered the key to helping a film maintain its long-term heat. This is a signal that the Vietnamese film market is entering a fierce competitive period, where differences, quality and audience effects play a decisive role.
