The project progress is assessed by the Department of Construction, the current volume is only 51.52% of the contract value, 24.86% behind schedule and 12.48% behind component project 2 invested by Project Management Board 85, especially the volume of land for roadbed filling is still very large, about over 800,000m3.

The investor and contractor have not yet had a solution, the risk of not completing the project's technical traffic opening on December 19 as directed by the Prime Minister is very high.
The leaders of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee have repeatedly affirmed that the completion of the project's technical traffic before December 19, 2025 is a political responsibility, an honor and prestige of Dong Nai province before the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Construction.
The Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee also requested the Project Management Board to urgently add additional subcontractors, direct contractors to increase machinery, equipment, gather materials, and labor to speed up construction to compensate for the delayed progress.
At the same time, direct contractors to strictly ensure traffic at existing overpass locations, construction material transport routes, ensure traffic safety, and environmental sanitation.
For the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 construction project, the construction progress of the 3 packages has reached nearly 51% of the contract value (slow compared to the plan).
