On October 15, Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc signed a document on the progress of component project 1 of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Construction Investment Project Phase 1.
Accordingly, the above project is included in the list of important national projects, key projects in the transport sector. The Prime Minister has directed to complete the technical traffic opening before December 19, 2025.
To achieve the above goal, the Provincial People's Committee held a signing ceremony of a commitment between the investor and contractors, launching a 140-day and night plan to complete the technical traffic opening of the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project and component project 1 of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway section through Dong Nai province.
The Provincial People's Committee has issued many documents urging and directing, however, up to now, the construction of the 2 construction packages has reached more than 50% of the contract value, 26.9% behind schedule.
The completion of the project's technical traffic before December 19, 2025 is the political task of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee and the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee before the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Construction to serve the connection of Long Thanh International Airport.
The document clearly stated: Request the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board to strictly implement the instructions of the Provincial People's Committee to speed up the project implementation, add contractors, direct contractors to increase machinery, equipment, supplies, and labor to carry out the construction in "3 shifts, 4 teams", "not enough working days, taking advantage of working at night"... The collective of the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board must thoroughly grasp and identify this as a top political task to focus on directing and urging contractors to speed up the project implementation progress.
The completion of the project's technical traffic according to the direction of the Prime Minister is the result of reviewing the arrangement and assignment of leaders of the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board in the coming time.
For Project Management Board 85 (Ministry of Construction), contractors are directed to clear the flow of canals and streams and repair service routes and residential roads to ensure traffic safety for vehicles and people participating in traffic and be responsible before the law in case of traffic insecurity due to delays in repairs by contractors.
In addition, for the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 Construction Project, the construction progress of the 3 packages reached 47% of the contract value (4.4% behind schedule), requiring the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board to direct contractors to be more determined, increase human resources, equipment, organize construction in "3 shifts, 4 teams" to complete on schedule. At the same time, the relocation of 8 high-voltage power pole locations will be completed in October 2025...
The My Thuan Project Management Board has completed the plastic/ asphalt blasting at the connection points to the service routes to ensure safety for vehicles participating in traffic in the area and directed the contractor of Component Project 1A to urgently construct and complete the remaining box culverts, cross culverts and manholes at the routes Km9+000 and Km9+120.
