After the preliminary round of the Miss Hoa contest of Dien Bien province in 2025, there were 19 contestants in the next round, including 6 contestants from the Department of Education and Training.
The 2025 Hoa Ban Beauty Contest with the theme "Flowers Ban Shapes" is organized at the regional level, taking place from March 21-26 in Dien Bien Phu City, Dien Bien Province.
The contest is an important highlight in the framework of the 2025 Ban Flower Festival and the 8th Dien Bien Ethnic Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival.
This is the fourth time Dien Bien province has organized a contest to introduce the beauty of the land and people of Dien Bien - Tay Bac, in which the beauty of young women and the beauty of Hoa Ban are highlights. Previously, the contest was first held in 2017.
From March 8, the contestants have gathered at the common house to practice. In the preliminary round, contestants will take part in 3 competitions for activities: beauty with Hoa Ban (beauty through photos); friendly beauty (through exchange activities, volunteering); on stage (performance of ao dai, traditional costumes of the Northwestern ethnic groups, swimsuits, talent competition).
The final night of the contest will take place on March 16 at Dien Bien Provincial Stadium, for the contestants who have passed the preliminary round. The contestants will perform: traditional costumes of the Northwestern ethnic groups; evening gowns; swimsuits and behavioral competitions (5 best contestants). Each competition is a special program of the contestants, interwoven with art performances.
In addition to contestants from the province, the contest also gathered beauties from Lai Chau and Phu Pho provinces. The Hoa Ban beauty will receive a crown and a Ring of the Hoa Ban Beauty 2025, along with a prize worth 100 million VND.
The second and second beauties will receive a ribbon, along with bonuses worth 50 and 20 million VND respectively.
In addition to the Miss Hoa Ban Contest, there will be many activities within the framework of the festival such as: street parade; highland cultural space; bicycle push-ups, bullet loading contest; live show performance and introduction of legends, history and unique folk dances, Thai ethnic folk culture "U Va Heritage"...
