On March 31, the Inspectorate of Dien Bien Department of Health announced the results of administrative sanctions against a massage parlor named Tech Medical (No. 960, Group 12, Muong Thanh Ward, Dien Bien Phu City).
Accordingly, the Department Inspectorate requested the facility to immediately stop the violation (examination/treatment), and temporarily suspend operations immediately after the Inspection Team. Impose an administrative fine of VND45 million and suspend the operation of the facility in medical examination/treatment activities according to regulations.
At the same time, they requested to refund the amount of money gained from the violation (examination/treatment) to the customer with a total amount of 19.5 million VND.
Immediately after receiving the administrative penalty notice, Tech Medical complied with the fine and refunded the entire amount of 19.5 million VND to customers.
Previously, on March 26, the Department of Health Inspectorate coordinated with the Economic Police Department, Dien Bien Provincial Police to conduct a surprise inspection of Tech Medical. At the time of inspection, this facility registered for the type of practice as air bathing, massage services and health improvement services.
However, the facility has not been able to present relevant documents on the practice license; license to operate medical examination and treatment; and management of medical equipment according to the provisions of law.
In addition, the facility does not have a management list for people coming to perform treatment. In particular, people without professional qualifications in health care and practice certificates are used to conduct medical examination and treatment for people.
