From April 7-10, the whole province of Hai Duong recorded 77 cases of measles rash fever, of which 54 cases tested positive for measles. Previously, in the first week of April, there were 115 cases of measles rash fever recorded and nearly 80 cases tested positive for measles.
According to statistics from the Center for Disease Control of Hai Duong province, from April 1 to 10, the whole province recorded 529 cases of measles rash fever, of which 448 cases tested positive for measles.
Hai Duong City has the highest number of measles cases with 218 cases. The age of measles is concentrated in children under 10 years old. Among the measles patients, up to 91.1% of cases have not been vaccinated or have not been vaccinated with 2 doses of measles vaccine.
The whole province still has 3 measles outbreaks operating including: Phung Van Trinh Primary School, Dong Lac, Nam Sach; Hong Lac Secondary School and Thanh Tan Secondary School are all in Thanh Ha district.
From April 25-24, the measles vaccination campaign for children ended, with 9,573/10,048 children vaccinated, reaching 95.27% of the plan.
