Under this program, Gate.io has sponsored a mini artificial turf yard, 880m2 for Cam Xa Primary School in Cam Xa, My Hao, Hung Yen, Vietnam.
The Football for Future initiative was born to support schools in difficult circumstances in Vietnam by renovating and building artificial turf soccer fields, while providing the necessary football equipment to enhance sports programs in schools.
Through the survey, Gate.io realized that Cam Xa Primary School, Cam Xa Commune, My Hao District, Hung Yen Province was in accordance with the goal of the program. The inauguration ceremony of the football field, marking the first project in the "Football for Future" initiative took place on the morning of 9.4, at the school campus.
In the future, Gate.io plans to launch a series of football charity events nationwide, support/build soccer fields at schools, and organize training activities, provide equipment and other resources.
Mr. Kevin Lee - Business Director, representing Gate.io - said: "We believe that the Football for Future initiative, with the success of the initial project, not only contributes to the development of football culture in Vietnam but also affirms Gate.io's commitment to fulfilling social responsibility, accompanying the younger generation in promoting their own potential".
Meanwhile, Ms. Nguyen Thu Hang - Principal of Cam Xa Primary School - shared her joy at Gate.io's humanitarian activities. She said: "Cam Xa Primary School is honored and proud to be selected by Gate.io to cooperate in implementing the football field sponsorship program for schools".
Before implementing the Football for Future initiative in Vietnam, Gate.io was known as the sponsor of Inter - an Italian team that had won 20 national championships and won the European Cup/UEFA Champions League 3 times.
The cooperation between the two units starts from the 2024-2025 season, connecting two brands that share the same vision for the future of technology, taking the community as the center and a sustainable competitive spirit.
