With impressive achievements, Vietnamese e-sports were honored for the first time at the glorious Sports of Vietnam 2025 program.

Recently, the electronic sports (esports) sport was honored for the first time at the glorious Sports of Vietnam 2025 program (22.3), thanks to outstanding achievements and important contributions to the development of the country's sports over the years.

Accordingly, at the 31st and 32nd SEA Games, eSports Vietnam won a total of 14 medals, including 3 gold medals, 3 silver medals, 3 bronze medals from the competition events of Lien Minh Huyen Thoai (LMHT), PUBG Mobile, Lien Minh Huyen Thoai: Toc Chien and VALORANT.

Notably, at the 2022 Asian Games - Asian Games 19, the Vietnamese Esports team also achieved the Top 4 continents in the LMHT event.

At the glorious program of Vietnam Sports, Ms. Le Thi Hoang Yen - Deputy Director of the Department of Physical Training and Sports of Vietnam shared: "In a very developed period, it can be said that Vietnamese e-sports has 100% socialized, and has been gradually affirming its position in regional and international sports events, especially the 31st SEA Games hosted by Vietnam as well as the 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia.

Vietnamese Esports athletes are gradually rising to international arenas, even winning many medals at prestigious playgrounds, showing that the country's Esports industry has great potential to aim for higher-level and more classy events".

With its completely socialized nature, e-sports has received strong investment from businesses, especially VNGGames - the leading distributor in Vietnam and the region.

As a strategic partner of the Vietnam E-Sports Association (VIRESA), this publisher always plays a leading role in supporting and accompanying Esports, supporting many teams to compete internationally; at the same time, it also coordinates the organization of national championship tournaments to select talented athletes to represent Vietnam to compete in many international events, thereby enhancing their position on the world map.
