According to the plan, the key objectives are to ensure food safety in production, processing, business and consumption; promptly prevent and handle fake, poor quality, and unknown origin food; minimize food poisoning cases during Tet and the 2026 Spring festival season.
The implementation focuses on two main groups of solutions: communication and inspection. In which, promoting propaganda on food safety knowledge; commending grassroots levels for doing well and publicizing violations.
Inter-sectoral inspection activities are carried out with focus and key points, focusing on items that are consumed a lot during Tet such as meat, beer, confectionery, vegetables and fruits, food services, markets, supermarkets, and slaughterhouses.
The plan is implemented until March 25, 2026. The Department of Health is the standing agency, presiding over the coordination of departments, branches and People's Committees of localities to organize implementation, contributing to ensuring a safe and healthy Binh Ngo Tet for people.
