On November 7, Can Tho City People's Committee issued an official dispatch on strengthening supply and demand regulation, stabilizing the market, stimulating consumption, and supporting production and business.
Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 05/TDH dated October 15, 2024 of the Domestic Market Management Team on reporting to the Domestic Market Management Team in the third quarter of 2024, the Chairman of the Can Tho City People's Committee assigned the Directors of Departments, Heads of city agencies and branches, Chairmen of District and Town People's Committees, based on their assigned functions and tasks, to continue to synchronously, resolutely and effectively implement the tasks and solutions in Resolution No. 01/NQ-CP dated January 5, 2024 of the Government on the main tasks and solutions to implement the socio-economic development plan and state budget estimates for 2024; Resolution No. 28/NQ-CP dated March 5, 2024 of the Government at the regular Government meeting in February 2024, including many solutions contributing to ensuring the balance of supply and demand of goods and stabilizing the market.
Based on the assigned functions and tasks, the Director of the Department, Head of the city's agencies and branches, Chairman of the People's Committee of districts and towns continue to synchronously, resolutely and effectively implement the tasks and solutions in Plan No. 18/KH-UBND dated January 19, 2024 of the City People's Committee on the implementation of the Resolution of the National Assembly, the Government, the City Party Committee and the City People's Council on the main tasks and solutions to implement the socio-economic development plan and the State budget estimate for 2024.
The Director of the Department of Industry and Trade shall preside over and coordinate with the Chairman of the People's Committee of the district and the Heads of relevant agencies and units to continue to closely coordinate and closely monitor the developments of supply and demand of goods, prices and markets; proactively and flexibly take measures to regulate supply and demand and stabilize the market to ensure production, meet consumer demand, contribute to curbing inflation, ensuring social security; actively implement Directive No. 29/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on stimulating consumption, supporting production, business and developing the domestic market.
