On September 27, Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Dao My signed a decision (No. 014/2025/QD-UBND) stipulating the functions, tasks and powers of the Dak Lak Provincial Market Management Department.
According to the decision, the Dak Lak Provincial Market Management Department is an administrative organization under the Dak Lak Department of Industry and Trade.
This unit has the function of assisting the Director of the Department of Industry and Trade in advising the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee to perform the function of State management and organize law enforcement on prevention, combat and handling of acts of trading in imported goods; production and trading of counterfeit goods, banned goods, goods of unknown origin; acts of violating intellectual property rights; acts of violating the law on quality, measurement, price, food safety; acts of violating the law on consumer protection rights and commercial acts according to the provisions of law in the province.
The Market Management Department is also the unit that helps the Director of the Department of Industry and Trade develop and submit to the Provincial People's Committee necessary plans, policies, mechanisms, and projects on market management, ensuring the circulation of goods according to the provisions of law; necessary policies, mechanisms, and projects to implement the policies and regimes on the organization and operation of the market management force in the province.
The Dak Lak Market Management Department (address at 10 Ly Thai To, Tan An Ward, Dak Lak Province) has legal status; has a seal; a separate account and a working headquarters according to the provisions of law. The Head of the Department is Mr. Vuong Minh Son.
