The activity aims to discover and honor products with high quality, practical use value, potential for production development, market expansion, meeting the needs of domestic and foreign consumers. Thereby contributing to promoting the development of industry - handicrafts in rural areas, serving the process of industrialization and modernization of rural agriculture.
The voters are organizations and individuals directly investing in industrial and handicraft production in districts, Kinh Mon town, Chi Linh city and wards of Hai Duong city that have been converted from communes for less than 5 years.
The participating products must be produced by rural industrial establishments themselves, not violating regulations on intellectual property, quality standards, food hygiene and safety and environmental protection; capable of mass production in large quantities, not original products.
The products are divided into 4 groups: handicraft products; agricultural, forestry, fishery and food processing products; equipment, machinery, tools and mechanical spare parts; other product groups.
The voting must be conducted publicly, transparently, and democratically. Products with 70 points or more will be recognized by People's Committees at all levels and granted Certificates of typical rural industrial products accordingly. The structure and quantity of certified products are decided by the Board of voters.
This is an important annual activity, contributing to promoting production and advertising Hai Duong's key products, improving competitiveness for rural industrial facilities in Hai Duong province.
