Responding to the Labor Safety and Hygiene Action Month in 2025, the Department of Construction of Hai Duong province requires agencies, units, localities and entities participating in construction activities to synchronously deploy many solutions to ensure labor safety in construction, prevent accidents and incidents, especially to prevent serious incidents like the recent one in Dat Cuoc Industrial Park (Bac Tan Uyen district, Binh Duong province).
Investors and construction units must strictly implement regulations on safety in construction; clearly assign responsibilities to each individual and department; review and supplement appropriate construction processes and measures. At the same time, organize periodic training and propaganda for workers, strengthen self-inspection and supervision.
At the construction site, it is mandatory to have a management system, full signs, barriers, traffic lights and warning devices in accordance with legal regulations. Machinery and equipment with strict safety requirements are only put into use after technical inspection.
The Department of Construction of Hai Duong province requested departments and branches to strengthen inspection and acceptance of works according to their functions, and at the same time integrate assessment of labor safety management at the site. Violations will be strictly handled, construction may be suspended or the use of unsafe equipment may be stopped.
The People's Committees of districts, towns and cities are assigned to strengthen inspection and supervision of construction activities in the area; promptly detect, handle and report on violating or potential safety risks.
The month of action on occupational safety and hygiene is an opportunity for all levels, sectors, businesses and workers in Hai Duong to raise awareness, strictly implement legal regulations, protect the safety of human life and health during labor and production.
