Gia Lai - Investors in industrial parks must have capacity and brand to solve the employment problem for workers well.

On February 28, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee and the working delegation had a field inspection and inspection of progress at Nam Pleiku Industrial Park (IP).

The Nam Pleiku Industrial Park project is invested by Chu Se Rubber Co., Ltd. (Vietnam Rubber Industry Group), with a scale of 205 ha, located in Bo Ngoong and Ia Tor communes, Gia Lai province.

With a total investment of more than 517 billion VND according to the Prime Minister's approval decision, the project has a convenient traffic location, opening up a wide development space for businesses.

Mr. Le Trung Kien - General Director of Chu Se Rubber Co., Ltd. said that the ground leveling work to hand over to secondary investors has basically been completed at key locations.

To date, the industrial park has had 14 investors registered to "hold seats" with a total area of about 50 hectares. At the construction site, Tien Thinh Company has officially started construction of a factory system specializing in fruit juice, dried fruits and logistics.

With a total investment of up to 50 million USD, this project promises to be a major boost for the agricultural product value chain in the locality.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan requested the investor and related units to be more drastic in completing technical infrastructure. However, he also noted that investment attraction should not be carried out scattered.

It is necessary to choose truly quality secondary investors with large scale, capital sources and reputable brands. This is only commensurate with the position of Nam Pleiku IP, ensuring sustainable development for the province's economy," Mr. Pham Anh Tuan said.

When fully operational, this IP not only contributes to the budget but also creates jobs for thousands of local workers, helping local people "leave agriculture and not leave their homeland".

The Nam Pleiku Industrial Park project will prioritize encouraging investment activities in deep processing of agricultural products and production applying high technology.

The project has a convenient location, near National Highway 14, National Highway 19 and is located on a large raw material area, specializing in agricultural products such as rubber, bananas, pepper, coffee...

Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reflected that after many years of stagnation and prolongation due to legal procedures such as: licensing, land planning, traffic connection, dossier appraisal..., the project has been promoted by the provincial government to remove "bottlenecks" to accelerate the implementation progress.
