According to the report of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, in the past 5 months, the locality has recorded many notable activities in the field of investment and business registration.
During this period, there are 7 newly licensed projects with a total registered capital of VND 1,531.64 billion, with an area of 51.97 hectares.
In addition, 25 projects have had their progress and goals adjusted, with a total adjusted capital reduction of 1.59 billion VND and an implementation area reduction of 60.41 hectares. There are 31 projects whose investment activities have been revoked or terminated.
In terms of business registration, in the first 5 months of the year, the province had 559 newly established enterprises, with a registered capital of up to VND 3,889.5 billion. Compared to the same period last year, the number of new enterprises increased by 8.8% and registered capital increased by 62.8%.
To date, the total number of enterprises still operating in the province is 15,012, with a total registered capital of over 182,000 billion VND.
Accumulated to the end of May 2025, the whole province has 604 cooperatives with a total registered charter capital of over VND 1,220 billion, along with more than 73,300 members. The province also has 6 cooperative unions and 438 cooperative groups.
