The workshop "Quad cube ao dai formula on silk" is a space connecting knowledge of the ao dai profession, a parallel activity with a vocational training program taught by designer Do Trinh Hoai Nam in coordination with the Vietnam Women's Union, aimed at practical training and supporting Vietnamese women to develop livelihoods from the garment industry.

For many years, vocational training programs for tailoring and designing ao dai associated with social organizations have contributed to supporting women in many localities to access the profession, improve skills and gradually form stable livelihoods from the garment industry.
From training practice, the ao dai craft is seen not only as a traditional handicraft field, but also has the potential to develop towards sustainable economy when organized and systematically trained.
In that context, the book "Foxbow Ao Dai Formula" developed by designer Do Trinh Hoai Nam is built as a system of technical principles in designing and shaping ao dai, to directly serve training and professional practice.

From a professional perspective, this set of formulas aims to standardize professional knowledge, help the teaching and learning process become clearer and more unified, and at the same time support practitioners in practicing and creating products of stable quality. Continuing to teach and develop the ao dai profession through a standardized formula system is considered a step towards professionalizing traditional crafts, while expanding access for the learning community and practitioners.
This approach also contributes to creating a more systematic vocational learning method, helping learners approach from the thinking foundation to practical techniques in a systematic way, instead of just relying on personal experience in the professional process.
The conference "Contemporary square ly ao dai formula" brought exchanges focused on approaching the ao dai profession in a easy-to-understand and easy-to-apply direction, while clarifying the requirements for technical standardization and increasing applicability in contemporary life.
