This impressive milestone affirms Unilever's mission of "For Vietnam, be a home" after 30 years of operation and development in Vietnam, and the spirit of "Doing good things, not afraid of dirt" of OMO in particular.
The 5-year achievements with known figures have strongly demonstrated OMO's contributions to the protection of the green barrier for Vietnam. After 5 years, OMO has planted more than 1 million trees in protective forests, production forests, mangrove forests, and national parks; greening 472.6 hectares of forest in 21 provinces and cities. In addition, OMO also released 80,000 seedlings, giving 35 types of special rare plants to 12 national gardens...
The forests are sown from the green efforts of OMO and accompanying partners.
Ms. Bui Thi Thanh Huyen, Deputy General Director of Unilever Vietnam Housing Care Industry, shared: "Each tree is planted by OMO not only to green the vacant land, but also to prevent erosion, minimize the impact of climate change, create sustainable livelihoods and increase biodiversity".
Following that success, OMO is committed to planting 1 million more trees in the 2026-2030 period, aiming to build a sustainable green heritage for future generations.
